Swords Into Plowshares Gallery and Peace Center

The Swords Into Plowshares Gallery and Peace Center is Southeast Michigan's unique location for peace and justice related art exhibits as well as a location for a number of peace-related events. The Gallery also has a gift shop featuring books, cards and artwork that can be purchased.
The Gallery is open 12 noon to 6pm on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Also, please note that the Gallery may be closed during periods during the summer so calling ahead is encouraged to confirm the gallery is open.

Calligraphy Classes At The Peace Center
Wink Covintree, artist, calligrapher, and member of the SIP Gallery Exhibit Committee will be offering a series of four Calligraphy classes at the Peace Center. The classes will meet on Friday June 6, 13, 20 and 27 from 10am – 12noon. The cost for the series is $60 plus a nominal cost for materials. Space is somewhat limited so please contact the Peace Center at 313-963-7574 if you are interested.

The Swords Into Plowshares Gallery is open 12 noon to 6pm on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Gallery is just west of Comerica Park with free parking in the rear (tell parking attendant your are visiting the Gallery).
