The Swords Into Plowshares Gallery and Peace Center is Southeast Michigan's unique location for peace and justice related art exhibits as well as a location for a number of peace-related events. The Gallery also has a gift shop featuring books, cards and artwork that can be purchased. 

The Gallery is open 12 noon to 4pm on Thursdays and Saturdays

  • September 26 through December 5 - Art4Detroit3 - This exhibit brings together an eclectic mix of local artists whose work celebrates the the City of Detroit. Held in conjunction with Hands4Detroit, this invitational show shines a positive light on the City and its people. 

  • October 4 (Sunday) - Michigan Coalition for Human Rights welcomes Jorge Parra, leader of ASOTRECOL (Association of Injured workers and Ex-workers of GM Colombia) – 1pm to 3pm at the Swords Into Plowshares Center – More information at www.mchr.org

  • October 24th (Saturday) – Treasure Sale Fundraiser – 11am to 4pm

  • November 6th (Friday) - Hands4Detroit2 Poetry Slam – 7-9 pm, Show begins at 7:30

  • November 14th (Saturday) – Holiday Mart Shop for a Cause 

  • January 16th (Saturday) - Opening – Art & Soul exhibit

  • February 27th (Saturday) – Art & Soul exhibit closes
